Getting Started with the Cheerful ELA Conference
The Cheerful ELA Conference is a 4 Day event that helps elementary teachers level up their lessons to keep students engaged and learning. We’ve invited 18 speakers to share their knowledge and experience with the anticipated audience of 15,000+. Our goal is to help elementary teachers feel prepared to go back to school with new ideas for their classrooms.

Speaker Checklist

Plan
Plan your presentation and confirm your spot! Complete your Speaker Intake Form ASAP.
Prepare
Prepare for the event by recording your session, creating slides, note sheets and FAQ sheets.
Promote
Help promote the event to your friends & followers. Grab our swipe files to make it easy!
Produce
Show up in the attendee Facebook group to answer questions about your session and interact with attendees.
Affiliate Information
As a member of our Speaker Team, we’ve set up a special affiliate link for you to share with your friends, family and followers! This link is what you’ll use to help promote the event and will tag all your referrals. Speakers will receive 50% commission on all tickets sold through their affiliate link.

You must have your PayPal account setup to receive commission payouts.

Step 1: Plan to Participate Complete Your Intake Form ASAP
Everyone participating in this event will need to complete an Intake Form. This form will only take a few minutes to complete and provides our team with all the information we need to setup your Speaker Profile, Create your Session Pages and setup your Swipe Assets for promotion.
Step 2: Prepare to Present
Prepare for the event by recording your session, creating slides, notes and FAQ sheets. We have some way to follow presentation guidelines as well as a few templates to help you create notes and FAQ docs.
Speaker Pre-Recorded
Presentation Guidelines
Videos Due By May 1st
- 20-45 minutes long pre-recorded video.
- Videos should be recorded in horizontal format.
- Packed with information, tips, and actual value.
- Quality audio, video and ample lighting is required.
- Include a short (1-2 minute) introduction then go immediately into the session content.
- Video should provide to do list or action items attendees can complete to achieve the goal of the session.
- You may include a sales pitch during the last 2-3 minutes of your video.
- If using slide deck, please include the slides for the booster pass.
- Visual elements are encouraged in all video sessions.
- A handout is required to accompany your video. This can be as simple as a page with your session title at the top or a full workbook, it's totally your choice.
Mark Your Calendar
Mark your calendar for the dates and times of the conference. We ask that you login and participate for each one. Live sessions will be broadcast live and include on air questions and answer times. Pre-recorded sessions will include a live chat box or comment section where attendees will be engaging with you and asking questions.
Step 3: Promote The Event
Share your participation with your friends & followers. We need everyone do their part using their affiliate link. This means sending a combination of emails to your audience and really going all out on your social channels!

- Ask a question in the FB group and reply to the feedback you get!
- Share email #4 with your audience.
- Engage with attendees in the FB Group! Like & Comment on 5-10 posts.
- Send email #2 to your audience.
- Post a reel about your session(s) with your speaker graphic and event information on IG & FB and tag 5 other speakers!
- Share your speaker speaker graphic on IG & FB in a post about your session(s) and tag 5 other speakers!
- Engage with attendees in the FB Group! Like & Comment on 5-10 posts.
- Post a reel what sessions your excited about on IG & FB and tag 5 other speakers!
- Post a reel about the event starting on IG & FB and tag 5 other speakers!
- Send email #5 to your audience.
- Share your speaker speaker graphic on IG & FB in a post about your session and tag 5 other speakers!
